The perfect activity for kids!

My daughter had a "dinosaur bones and gemstones" theme for her birthday party, so we set up a "dig site" with these sprinkled throughout. The little kids AND big kids thought it was the best day ever. They were busy digging and identifying their finds for hours. We also got the little cuties geodes bucket for a geode cracking station which was a hit (pun intended). These were well priced, and my kids are still digging for them weeks later.

Excellent Value for use in a Public Library Summer Reading Program

This years library Summer Reading Program is "Unearth a Story". We ordered the quart mini miner fossil freak to use during our rocks, minerals and fossils activities and the kids absolutely loved the specimens! They had so much fun using the provided ID chart to identify the fossils and minerals. The megalodon tooth, treasure chest (ours had an amonite!) and dessert rose were among the favorites. We saved the geode for our geode smash activity coming up in a few weeks. Highly recommend this product for group activities, parties or even as a gift for the fossil, rock hound in your life. 5 STARS!
