Bad batch

Love dashing diva but I must have gotten a bad batch of the Baila Con Fuego because it kept separating the clear top from the color

Missed the mark this time

I’ve been using DD Glaze for years, and it has been pretty much the only thing I’ve put on my nails. This color, Baila Con Fuego, is absolutely beautiful, one of my favorites, and I’ve purchased it 3 times. The first two were perfect and lasted ~2 weeks each time. This one, however, must have been a bad batch. I put them on Saturday afternoon, and by Monday evening I had lifting on 7 out of 10 nails. And it wasn’t lifting the whole strip from my nail, it was the clear outer layer lifting from the colorful adhesive layer. I’ve only ever experienced that with lower quality brands from Amazon that I don’t purchase anymore after those bad experiences. I guess there was one positive from this batch - removal was a breeze. I just popped the clear layer off (even the 3 nails that weren’t separating by themselves) and basically rolled the adhesive layer off of my nails like I was rolling up a yoga mat. I hadn’t changed anything about my prep - push back cuticles, wash hands, use prep pad, apply nails making sure to press edges down with cuticle stick, trim off excess, cure, trim remaining excess, avoid getting nails wet for a few hours, and avoid using lotions or cuticle oils on nails for a few days after. Not sure what happened with this batch - I think the batch number id Y24C1.

New color for me and I think it is very pretty.
