Great bag. Included strap too long. DIY for chest wear
Bag itself is wonderful. Great for carrying all sorts of things and keeping pockets open. Quality of the strap is great, however it's much too long for my preferred style of chest sling. I've cut and re-sewn the strap about 1 foot shorter which still gives me (6 ft tall) plenty of room but now let's the bag sit comfortably over my chest.

When I Needed A Little More Organization Than The Sacoche
I've had the Kompak, the Sacoche, and now the TKX. This has the right amount of modularity for a daily tech/document sling that also fits well as a pouch in a backpack. I really like the quick access magnetic front flap for my phone. I missed it from the Kompak. The accordion design main compartment really enhanced organization options. I'm also impressed that this bag arrived in a drawstring bag that I will use as a rain cover. My nitpick is the strap though. I think the metal g-hook is a little rough for clothes and the longevity of the strap material, as it doesn't hook and unhook very smoothly. I think straps that buckle or hook are a little gimmicky and just add an extra failure/theft point. Also, the way the zippers lock continues to be a nice anti-theft/anti zipper jingle feature. I was considering Ultra fabrics for my next sling, but Cordura remains a versatile daily option. Laminates will fail long before Cordura will, and they will soak through soon enough in rain anyway if my experience with X-Pac says anything, removing the overall appeal. Just use a rain cover and stay classic. The TKX Sling is a keeper for me.

Great pocket reliever sling with easy phone access
I loved this little bag. It is perfect for my needs, and I like the outside phone compartment, this way the phone is easily accessed, as we are constantly picking our phones to check notifications or take pictures. The only downside is that you can't carry it on the left shoulder. I didn't realize that before purchasing, otherwise I would reconsider. For me carrying on the right shoulder feels antinatural. To be ideal, we would have a way to clip the straps on both sides (top and bottom), so it wouldn't stay upside when carried on the other shoulder. Also, the strap quality could be better, but I understand that this is meant to be more like a tech pouch with the possibility of becoming a sling. But would be nice to have the option to purchase a more smooth and silky strap to use with this. But overall it is a great sling and still 5 stars.
