Doesn’t feel like compression shorts

First.. these don’t feel like compression shorts. They don’t keep anything tight. Second: definitely should have sized up in these. By at least one size. They make me look like I am trying to wear my baby sisters clothes. Here’s the positive though. The material is great. Light weight. Keeps its cute print. Doesn’t look stretched out. I wish these would work for me, but I will be sticking to the regular running shorts from now.
