2011 - 2016 LML Duramax 2500 3500 4500 5500 | EFI Live

I had previously added EFI Live to my 2014 Silverado 2500HD LML duramax . I believe it was in 2017. I bought and I installed the 5 tunes with on the fly. Well the switch never real worked or the tunes didn’t appear much difference when I switched through them. Not sure of what really happened but it was pretty disappointing. I decided it was time to go to a single street tune (120 HP),with the matched transmission tune. I reached out to Torque works diesel and was able to talk with Drew. Great guy and a wealth of knowledge. Drew confirmed that I could use my tuner device and gave me detailed instructions on how to unlink it and how to download the tune and flash my truck. Well I bought the tunes and Torque works had them in my mailbox same day. I’m no computer expert and it took a little work but I got it done. My truck is a fire breathing machine now. It actually idles smoother, no dead spots or lag in the turbo and you certainly and hear the turbo whistle . Acceleration is probably 35% over stock and the zero to 60 is pretty impressive. Haven’t got a feel of the fuel economy at this point since it still in the learning stage. I will be installing a CP3 pump and a Fleece Cheetah turbo. Drew will have the tunes available for these upgrade whenever I need them. I didn’t mention my truck has a airdog 165 gpm lift pump. This is a must if you want to do a street tune. It was a good experience with a good outcome.

Torqueworks diesel got it right! The EFI live tune is a huge upgrade from my last.
