Woodsman's Wake - Juniper Berry, Sage, Lavender, and Cedar Beard Oil, Butter & Cologne

Crisp outdoor type of scent

Woodsman’s Wake, hmmm. While this scent has a lot to offer, being a woodsy type of guy I pick up more of the outdoors and cedar/juniper of the profile. There is also some herbal from the lavender & sage and a bit of crisp air aspect to this scent, from the eucalyptus mint. Covers you whether you lean more one way, or the other with scent preference. Now go and enjoy. Go camping! Fishing! Or a ball game in the spring.

Such a refreshing scent

When I first put it on I get the eucalyptus then it smooths out. After a few hours it has a sweet scent to it. I definitely recommend this one.

Woodman’s Wake: pure excellence!

Nick and Rugged create great products that start with how they work; the oils and butters work very well. The oils absorb well and do not leave you feeling greasy or wet. The butters nourish the beard hairs very well; after an overnight with the butter applied, my beard feels great. The scents??? Oh. My. Goodness. This is where the artistry really starts to shine! Nick has this crazy ability to build and layer scents in a way that is very dynamic and complex. Woodman’s Wake is this blend of earthly scents ( Eucalyptus, Sage, Cedar, Lavender, Juniper Berry, Ozone, and Musk). The Eucalyptus and Juniper jump out at me initially, while the other parts of the profile start to come out to reach my olfactory senses as time in beard advances. Just a great scent that provides a peaceful feeling to me. Another great offering from Nick and Rugged. Don’t forget: even unscented oils and butters from Rugged are great; the scents make them exceptional!
