Mojave Performance Shorts 6" Lined

Good, but not great. That pretty much sums it up. The sweat-absorbing fabric on the sides of the legs and hips are a nice innovation — allowing you to effectively wipe your hands without leaving the court for a towel. But that fabric adds weight to the shorts. It’s less noticeable once they’re on and you’re moving, but they are definitely heavier than ordinary shorts. The liner, which is advertised as providing compression, does not. It is a liner, period. No compression. If you’re looking for supportive compression, you’d be better served with a pair of actual compression shorts under regular tennis or court shorts. Finally, the sizing chart is less than helpful, and not terribly accurate. The medium (which is listed as having a waist size of 32”) was plenty roomy for my 34” waist. Bottom line — good shorts for pickleball, but going forward, I’ll probably stick with regular shorts over a true compression short, especially for the price.

Love the fit and comfortable on the waistband. Keeps my hands dry when needed.
