Protects hands in case of fall

I was not sure what benefit these would provide when I ordered bike with them. I am over 70 and my StunnerX is heavy with the fat tires so the possibility of a fall isn’t crazy. These grips protect your hands if you can keep them on the handlebars. Nice flat place on them too to rest your hands during a long ride also.

not really compatible with a handlebar mounted mirror but otherwise the feel great
