Philodendron ernestii red

Soncolorfull and big and nice size plant equagenera always the best

I was hoping this was the variety I saw at my local botanical garden. However, the top of the leaf is a dark emerald green, not the lime green pictured. The leaf shape is also more elongated with less prominent ribbing of the veins than the heart-shaped leaf pictured here. The specimen received was a bit underwhelming. I guess the search continues.

The picture doesn’t do it justice. The leaves are very dark with dark red on the underside. Was very impressed with this.
