Zyp Boron Nitride Glass Release

ZYP first time user

This was the first time I used ZYP Boron Nitride glass release. After discovering that I had to really shake the bottle for a while to mix it well to make it spray correctly. It coated the mould well. The hears released with ease after firing.

I used it for a large deep stainless steel bowl to make a sink for my caravan bathroom. Worked great!

Zyp in hand pump bottle

I have a few molds that had already been sprayed with zyp, so I couldn't use my preferred method of using kiln wash. This seems a reliable and easy to use release method, and I can see a few projects I will be using it in. It is very important to thoroughly clean the nozzle after every use, I place the end of the tube into a glass of water and keep pumping until the water comes out completely clear.
