Fun for kids, gentle on skin

As I’ve gotten back into candle making to control more ingredients while still satisfying my family’s addiction to candles, my son who has severe eczema and has special soaps with zero scent is always sneaking his siblings soap with “smelly”. It makes his skin so much worse. I saw this as I was ordering for candles looked into it and decided to see if he wanted to try to make his own special soap where we could control what we add. That way we could play with it making tiny bars to sample with limited scent but enough to make him feel like he has something smelly and fancy like his big siblings. I let him choose a couple FOs. All he cared about was Monkey Farts in true 10 year old boy fashion. We made a small batch together and he used it a few times with no extra reaction! My bathroom smells very fruity when he’s finished with his shower with just a small amount of FO. He made a bigger batch to share with family out of town when I send candles! I even made a cranberry orange spice bar and roasted pine cone bar for my husband and myself and have my big kids listing what they want their little brother to make them for Christmas presents. Great product, easy to use once you get the hang of it, you have to work fast and have everything ready. We’ve definitely enjoyed making melt and pour soap together and though soap making has been something I’ve wanted to try for a while, I’ll definitely stick with this since it works with his skin and doesn’t add too much more to my plate while still being able to make soap with my baby boy!!
