I really liked the north shore liner so I got the Trail bike liner to try. I like them even more because they are a little thinner and keep me a little cooler. Did 40 miles of singletrack over 3 days and these kept me from feeling any issues.

Nice upgrade to the V2 mtb chamois

I own the first version ‘North Shore’ padded shorts which were great. I found these to be the first chamois I ever used that provided space for the downstairs goods. Most chamois’s crush your goods and are generally not comfortable but these were great. Like most excellent! After 2 years of use, the elastic started to stretch and I found that while they stayed in place, they wouldnt hold my knee pad liner in place by the end of the ride. That was the only criticism. Now trying this updated version, the leg is slightly more narrow and the elastic has more resistance. It’s a good fit on my. I’m 5,11” 195lbs and the L is a good fit. I find that I’m equally as comfortable in the downstairs region and my knee pads are still held in place at the end of the ride. Seems like a solid upgrade if you’re in the market for new mtb padded shorts.

Finally

I’m new to ridding any distance but having tried several different brands these padded liners are the best I found. I’ve had some shorts that felt like I was diaper and cut off all my circulation. With these I forget I have them on. The most important feature is room for your junk. It makes an incredible difference.
