This is extremely easy to install and it removes all the wires. It is useful without the power cord from desky but I would highly recommend getting at least one. They have three power outlets, and I can also put my phone charger into this. I like running wires through the open side. This is really worth the money to upgrade the desk especially on the standing desks. I roll away my desk so this allows me to only have one plug to (un)plug when we move the desk.
