I bought this after getting back into the hobby. In the past I've had about 3 cheaper quality trainers ($20 or below), and this is a definite upgrade.
The most recent one is also on Washers, but is more handle heavy, and heavy in general. The trainer was over 5 ounces in weight. The play was astronomical, and there was insane tap. I tried to fix it but the screws stripped and I couldn't fix it.
After recently buying this and flipping it often for about a week, there's a noticeable difference. It's 100% lighter and more balanced, and the play after flipping it for a week and dropping in on the ground a few times is nothing noticeable. The sound of it also is amazing. I love the clinks and chimes it makes while doing tricks.
I will be considering buying more quality trainers from Squid Industries, and will most likely continue the hobby.
