Fake hype on social media

I bought Ahmed Al Maghribi Kaaf Extrait de Parfum after seeing all the hype on social media, and I have to say I'm very disappointed. The amount of praise this fragrance gets online doesn't match my experience at all. The scent smells extremely synthetic, to the point where it's actually offensive to my nose. Instead of smelling refined or luxurious, it comes across as harsh, artificial, and overpowering. Fragrance is subjective, but I genuinely don't understand the overwhelming positive reviews. It feels like this perfume has been heavily pushed by influencers rather than being judged on its actual quality. Unfortunately, this was a blind buy that I regret, and I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience.
