Beginning guid to spear fishing.

I highly recommend just taking a trip in to talk with anyone at the shop. Evan took his time explaining the various options to wetsuits, spear guns and just the sport in general. His passion and enthusiasm was inspiring. My father in law (76) yrs old brought his spear gun in which he used as a teenager in Hawaii. He and Evan swapped stories which brought so much joy to him. We had originally gone in looking for a gun for my teenage son for Christmas. By the time we left it had inspired me to put together my own shopping list so I can share in making memories with my son. I look forward to taking lessons with my son to create a more safe successful experience. I highly recommend taking a trip in just to see and speak with ANYONE in that shop. Very happy with Spear America. The gun was damaged in shipping and there was no issues sending the damaged gun back and getting my new one sent back to me. So far the gun has ran great.
