Keychron V6 POM Plate

Good fit

I've been using the Keyboard Kustoms plates for some time now, and I've been happy with the ones I've received. The fit is good, and it comes with the standoffs and hardware you need with is really important if you are using a plastic plate.

As advertised (Almost)

The plate and the POM material itself are good quality and cut accurately. The lack of instructions was a slight detriment, but it was fairly easy to figure out as someone who is replacing their keyboard plate for the first time. However, I did have to drill 2 holes that were shown in the store picture, but were not present on the plate I received. These 2 holes allow the top cover of the keyboard to sit flush, as it has 2 small notches that sit within these holes. Luckily I had the tools and confidence to drill these myself, but without them it would render the board useless. I did double-check the store picture to make sure I had purchased the correct one for my keyboard, and that I did not make a mistake installing, but I am sure these holes were meant to be manufactured out before the plate reached me. Besides that, a decent purchase.

Necessary Upgrade

The POM plate is high quality and fits perfectly into the keyboard using the included standoffs. The sound profile changed to a deeper tone and has a little more flex than the OEM steel plate. I highly recommend switching the EVA foam with the Poron foam to further maximize the sound of the POM plate.
