MoonMount Oval Vacuum Anchor

This is the mount! We have both 4.5” round and this oval mount. Both have very powerful holds but this oval mount fits our van better and lets us mount it in more positions!

I bought these vacuum anchors to use with a lught weight tent-type awning that I purchased on Amazon. I was looking for a way to hang this awning from my horse trailer without having to drill holes into the trailer roof. None of the other suction cups i tried would hold. Although they are a little pricey, these worked as described. I am thrilled with how easy they are to use and, when applied per the directions, have incredible suction and have stayed on for 24 hours so far. I’m very happy with my purchase. PS - it is worth noting that a small amount of assembly is required. You do have to put in the screw and the actual anchor into the anchor. Be careful not to over tighten the screw down into the anchor or it will affect the vacuum ability.

The suction mounts seem to stick pretty good so far but they are a pain to get in place. I have to press down pretty hard to get them to grab and hold the suction. The oval shape is nice as anything else would not work on our van.
