The small dog seems to like this hat - it fits well and her ears fit in the holes nicely. The best part of this experience was the customer service. I was curious about the fit of a larger size for both the small dog and for our larger one so I contacted the store and they jumped in with a fantastic solution immediately. Because of their support for my issue, I went shopping on their website and found more stuff my dogs would like. Literally, customer service support put me in the mood to do more shopping!

The fit is "pretty good" - for larger dogs or dogs with a more elongated head, I would suggest going one size up. That said, the hat is good looking and the dog (at least my dog Stella) didn't object to it on her head quickly. The best part of this experience has been the customer service! I asked about exchanging the hat for a larger size and I got an immediate response with a great resolution and because of that, I was motivated to buy more toys for my dogs. Thanks!
