When I connected the PAS-225 to my PTU 7000 I got a warbling tone at 1000 Hz. I finally got rid of the tone when I stopped using the power connection from the PAS-225 to the PTU-7000. I then used battery power to the PAS-225 with the power connection from the PAS-225 to the PTU 7000 and did not have the warble. It seems the power supply that came with the PAS-225 cannot power both the PAS-225 and PTU 7000. By the way, I had a spare PAS-225 power supply and it caused the same problem.

Can’t be beat for the price. It does come with just standard barrel plug connectors for power but the unit does have threads on the back. It not a deal beaker more of preference/security. Would be a nice upgrade option to offer.
