Lovely romantasy

This novel concentrates the best of many typical romantasy thropes. The love between Daindreth and Amira is healthy, if not easy. The magical world is clear and tense but not boring, not complicated, and symbolizes both spiritual and mental battles. It can be good for teenagers and for adults. The side characters are interesting and nobody is totally perfect. Love from France, Roxane

Read it twice

This book and the others in the series have been responsible for keeping me up way too late on a work night. I got so sad when the series ended that I had to go back and read it again. Daindreth's Outlaw does a good job at developing relationships between characters. I liked the slightly slower pace followed by a dramatic ending.
