Hot Launch Max D Fairway

Took this out on the range to compare to my 6 iron. Such an easy ball to get in the air, and so much easier (for me) to consistently keep on line. Easy go to club for those 6 iron distances. Quality is great, sound was surprisingly good. I was worried it would feel like a notable step down from the exotics line of fairway woods which I have two of, and while the sound and appearance of the exotics line is better as club level club, they are still very good. My one small personal complaint (or wish rather), is that the crown was matte to more seamlessly fit in with the exotics line.

I now have a complete set of Max D fairway woods. I'm glad that I do. These respond to my game the way I was hoping. I'm 76 and don't swing it like I used too. Thanks so much.

Just turned 77 which is a bigger number than my swing speed so I made the move from regular to senior flex shafts. The 5 wood is in the bag with the 7, and the 11. As long as I do my part these Max D woods launch the ball high, straight and it sticks to the green when I use them on long par 3s or approach shots.
