Booter Overhood

Too small for ski helmet.

I really want to love this for those frigid ski days but there are several problems and it's just too small with my ski helmet and I find I'm constantly trying to readjust my goggles. When the mask is up, it's tough the breathe through the mouth as the fleece is pretty thick. Pulling the mask down results in pulling my goggles down my face which pinches my nose. Forget about combining it with a balaclava that has a built in face mask! It's extremely warm and soft, so I'm keeping it for cold weather hiking with a beanie. A needed improvement is to make the hood larger and adjustable. The cord is around the neck, whereas it needs to be around the hood.

Super soft hood

The fleece is super soft and cosy, and the hood fits well over a hat if you are not wearing a helmet. The fleece isn't really windproof, so if you're outside on a windy day it might not be as warm as wearing the hood of a jacket.

Wind solver

I bought my daughter and I each a booter overhood for this ski season and we are huge fans after the first use! Both of us run cold on windy or snowy days and with temps in the negatives with 25mph winds we stayed toasty warm. Plus, they look so cool 😎
