Wait a bit after you brew a cup, the plastic will expand and it will be difficult and somewhat damaging to the threads. There is a small gap on the inside lid of portafilter itself that allows water to get in. I fear over time that it may collect grinds and fines/oils and will discolor the otherwise pristine glass like clarity of the portafilter itself. Other than that the Performance is great, offering great clarity of each flavor and presents very little harshness(bitter, dry, astringency). The brews are potent and yet graceful in presentation.
