Checkmate is an incredibly interesting scent. It's tobacco-forward with a subtle hint of bourbon, creating a rich and provocative aroma. This scent transports me to a room where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is penning one of his captivating Sherlock Holmes stories, surrounded by the smoke from his pipe and the comforting presence of a neat whiskey. I used it in coco apricot wax at an 8%, and both CT/HT are a perfect 10/10. If you enjoy smoky, heavy scents, this one is definitely for you. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a deep and intriguing fragrance experience!
