Perfect dark brown sandals

I’ve been looking for quite some time for a simple dark brown summer sandal. Most of the styles I’ve seen this summer have some type of embellishment. So happy I found these. I’m a size 6. 5. Ordered the 37 which fit perfectly. The piece between my toes is comfortable (usually not in other shoes). Would have bought the black version if there was one 😊

I was excited to try Jenni Kayne for the first time, but unfortunately this experience ensured it will also be my last. I purchased the Gia sandals during the warehouse sale after carefully reviewing the sizing guidance, which stated they fit true to size. I typically wear an 8–8. 5 and even ordered up to a size 39 based on the size chart. Despite sizing up, the sandals were still too small, making the product description clearly inaccurate in my experience. I fully understood that the purchase was final sale. However, I contacted customer service because the issue wasn’t simply that the shoes didn’t fit—it was that I relied on the sizing information provided. Rather than acknowledging that possibility or offering even a one-time size exchange, the company repeatedly referred back to the final sale policy without addressing my actual concern. The customer service experience was incredibly disappointing. After escalating my request, the manager’s response was essentially another copy of the final sale policy with no consideration given to the misleading sizing information or the fact that I was a first-time customer. I understand businesses have policies, but great customer service means knowing when an exception is warranted. In this case, Jenni Kayne chose policy over customer satisfaction. I cannot recommend purchasing anything from this brand, especially if you’re relying on the sizing guidance provided.

Great shoes

I've been on the hunt for a pair of quality leather sandals that are simple and not logo-forward for years, and these are the pair. They're a touch heavier than you would expect, but I think that adds to the quality feel of them. I hope these last for many years!
