Black Field Rugby S/S

Was really hoping to leave a 5 star review. Purchased this shirt for patrol use with a duty uniform/bike patrol shirt. I wore this shirt for one 12 hour shift. Did two different bike patrols during shift. After my shift the shirt was stuck to my belt and was pilling where the material rubbed on some hook and loop. Was hyped when the shirt came in at the first impressions. Was even tempted to purchase another short sleeve and a long sleeve. For the price. Would have wanted to get a little more wear out of it before the wear started to show. Love supporting smaller brands. This shirt would be better geared to pair up with non duty belt or gear that has no exposed hook and loop to avoid the rubbing/pulling issues I ran into. Would give it a 5/5 for comfort and fit but for durability it takes a 1 star due to the wear shown after a single day of patrol work. Shirt is still serviceable, but for how long that is TBD. Pros: lightweight, breathable, collar feels great on the neck, no rubbing on skin, velcro patch panels adhere great to patches Con: material pills very easily. After one day of wear on patrol. Two spots of pilling where it rubbed on my duty belt.

Very comfortable shirt, i like the fit and everything, but it snagged like crazy the first time I wore it. Im super disappointed becuase I love my 13Th heaven pants. I got this shirt in hopes it would be comparable to the 5.11 or velocity rugby shirt, but it didnt hold up. With the amount of velcro in modern Kits (TQs, placards, etc) this looks awful after one day of training. I think this just became an overpriced undershirt from now on.

The product is made of low quality material. We purchased these as an alternative to the Velocity top. Don’t do this! After one session wearing the top with kit, the material was piling terribly in many areas. This top will not stand up to even light wear/duty at all. I contacted customer service about the issue and I was essentially told to pound sand, but in a very polite and respectful way. However polite they may be, I am extremely disappointed in the product support. I will continue to use Velocity even with their limited availability. Very disappointing experience overall.
