These are the best gels for lace bite as they have a velcro like backing that secures it in place. Others move about and are unreliable.

The Velcro backing is perfect for getting these adjusted to the right position on the skate tongue. Went from not being able to skate for 2wks due to some lace bite injury to right back out on the rink for 2. 5hrs of pickup after installing one of these. Definitely a good product with the right backing on it for skate tongues.
