Viking Broad Axe – 5-Foot Long Axe Replica

Borrowed title from Robert E. Howard’s Kull. Axe is extraordinary! The feel is one of power and grace. It is well balanced and the recovery from swinging it is comparable to my nodachi swords. Only issue is that the axe broke through the packing box at each end. No damage to the axe or end of the shaft. But the sheath was missing. I collect and practice with a variety of edged weapons. This axe is an excellent addition to my collection, a great conversation piece and a fantastic workout tool.

Broad Axe, Dane Axe

Excellent forged instrument of destruction. I like the craftsmanship, the forged blade, the smooth, long handle that allows the wielder to slide the hands in balance to the swings. The sheath is a nice accessory, a good safety measure. Thanks! I love it!!
