Slotted Tungsten Beads - 'Stones'

Good value and good hole

They’re beads. They should be pretty much as expected. I felt like they were a good value, which is a plus. They seem heavy and don’t seem like they’re made with a low % tungsten alloy. What I like about them compared to some other slotted beads is that the non-slotted eye is properly sized. I’ve had other slotted beads where the hole is too small when using a barbed jig hook, which I admittedly don’t do all that often.

These beads are looking good on my friends mop flies he wanted added a shrimp pink collar on white mop material.

Good for heavy flies

I used the 4.5mm size in pink for a batch of squirmies that I tied for a friend. He uses them in fast water and pocket water in the mountains south of Asheville NC.
