Dock Mount AquaSweep

The muck blaster seems to be working fine. I have one question is it supposed to be able to pivot down or only up because the way I received it it only pivotsup. It seems like it would be more efficient if I could aim the blast down.

A couple recommendations ??

contacted direct before purchase, high concern for voltage drop yet the cord length is only available in 50' intervals. In my case , I was just over 50' would have been nice to at least have a option for 75', or 10' increments, even if that customer option was a bit more. just an idea !, 2nd issue my dock sits low in the water and I got the truss mount, this means I had to be in about30" of water to be able to mount the unit, this is about 3/4 of the way to the end of my dock, again other options ? all told I have only used this for a couple hours and it does seem to work good so far.
