Reference DH11 Trout Spey

DH11 for Bonefish...Perfect here in Hawaii!

This rod casts very powerfully and smooth... I recently headed out to the flats on Oahu with my new DH11 paired with a Hatch 7plus and 305gr Rio Trout Spey integrated line. I was really impressed with how the rod loaded up and let the line sail out. I was using a size #6 hook, mantis shrimp pattern as the day started out fairly sunny and calm... As usual, the wind soon picked up but the rod held strong. I typically use an 11' 6wt switch rod or sometimes an 11' 8wt switch rod in these conditions, but as I said, the DH11 paired with with the Rio Trout Spey worked out great... No fish this day, but I thoroughly enjoyed casting. Thank you for building such a great rod! I'm looking forward to hooking up a Hawaii Bonefish soon...
