I have been using my new Arctic Sammy traffic handle leash for Stanley's daily walk. I wasn't sure whether the standard size might be too thick and heavy for a Springer Spaniel, but it is nice and light and the traffic handle is at the right height for me. My only criticism is that the auto lock carabiner is a bit fiddly to clip and un-clip as you have to simultaneously twist and squeeze to open it - but I am sure this will become easier with practice. The main reason I chose the Arctic Sammy leash was the security provided by the climbing rope which has a tough outer sheath and separate inner core. My old leash was a flat 25mm wide web style, but twice while I was momentarily distracted Stanley started chewing the loose lead and nearly severed the webbing. I no longer have that concern with the Arctic Sammy leash.

Great product

Love this leash. Lightweight, excellent quality. The traffic handle is so useful for keeping my kelpie close when walking on shared paths, close to roads or crossings. As a return customer, am consistently impressed with Arctic Sammy products.

Quite literally the best lead I've ever used

I have so many of these leads, and I keep buying more because they're so great and come in so many colours. The traffic handle is such a great addition - it allows me to securely keep my big guy close while we're passing people or dogs. I don't know how I lived without it on previous leashes. The quality of the leads is fantastic. They're strong and durable, easy to clean, and the rope is comfortable to hold on to. They're very clearly well made and will last for years. I cannot recommend them enough.
