Coming from a 12 oz Herman Oak harness leather belt that weighed more than my pants, this was literally a breath of fresh air. The art work on the scarab is satisfying and and delightful. The clasp runs like a feather on a twig- effortless. It feels good to have to develop a tactile ritual to close it correctly. Everything about the buckle feels right. I gave the leather a Bick 4 treatment and it was much improved- smoother and more broken-in feeling. Truly an amazing piece of machinery and clothing.
