After having used other half hitch tools on the less expensive spectrum, this upgrade for me was easily well worth the cost. The tool's tapered tips are longer, more gradual, and silky smooth. The tool is a pleasure to use and fit and finish are awesome. The three tips that came with the tool will cover all my half hitch needs. Highly recommended if you use half hitch knots!

VERY Pleasantly Surprised!

Wasn't really sure I wanted more 'things' on my tying table... they tend to get 'lost' in the clutter. That said, this little 'toy' has been GREAT for putting single and multiple whip turns w/ no fuss at all. I use the smallest head mostly, and it does the job very well. Just wish it had been designed so as to keep the entire 4 pcs together in one 'package'. Be careful to place the two extra tips where they won't get lost.
