That's a great bag, however I do wish there was a little bit more space for a headset and that the center pocket was a little bit bigger just so it's easier to pull an iPad with a pivot case out of.

Nice bag - Could be even better

I purchased the flight bag to replace the larger bag I had been carrying around during flight training. The three main pockets contain my pre-flight gear and some other redundant items (E6B - paper and calculator, fuel tester, napkins, extra batteries, flashlight, etc.) The Bose A30 headset, with carrying case, fits perfect in the outer pocket. I like the 4th smaller pocket that contains my wallet; it's probably meant for sunglasses but there is not enough space to fit glasses with case in that compartment so I carry them in one of the other three. I don't like that the bag is about a half inch to an inch too small. I have an 11" iPad (with kneeboard leg strap) and it won't fit. I bought the smaller iPad mini and that fits fine. I wanted to keep a small binder/folder with documents in the bag, however, this bag size eliminated that as an option. There is no dedicated pockets for pens and flashlight. I organized the bag to kind of make one; the drawback is when I pull a larger item from that pocket, the pens lean or fall. If you're trying to get something from the bag, I am heads-down longer than I'd like. I appreciate a bag that is structured so I can easily access contents in thier dedicated spot within the bag - this bag almost does that. I do like the water bottle and radio side pouches, again, easy access is key. Very robust zipper system and quality material; reminds me of higher end cooler systems, you know you have a quality bag in your hand. I am getting used to the bag and I would recommend for anyone who is a light traveler that isn't as particular about item placement. Overall, I do not regret my purchase and I'm certain it will last a LOOOONG time.

it’s perfect for my needs

I am in college for flight training and this back is perfect for my mission. Fits all my documents, logbook, checklists, gear needed, etc and it’s all organized. It’s a great quality bag and I love it!
