I like these hooks a lot for tying cripples and emergers. Great strength to weight ratio and excellent hook ups.

I have been tying a lot of Caddis flies sizes 14-18 with these hooks lately. They are strong and have a larger gape than the hooks I have previously used. I really enjoy that they are barbless since I fish predominantly flies-only rivers. Don't have to pinch the barb down, yet they hook and hold fish very well.
