Great hook for the price, first time using this brand. I normally use Firehole hooks and this FM5025 compares perfectly to the Firehole 633. Will but again.

Good for "Downsizing"

Great hook for tying patterns where you want a solid hook capable of holding big fish. Looks a bit silly having a size 16 tied nymph on a size 12 hook... but the results are worth it. Kind of like how a 'low-water salmon pattern' looks strange- but is nevertheless effective.
