Cooked beef had an extremely strong fish-like smell and taste, like fish oil/fish roe. It was cooked without spices. Nourish told me a strong fish-like odor is not characteristic of their beef, but also said it should be fine. Later they refused a refund because the beef had been prepared outside their facility. I never received a clear answer whether this was normal flavor or a quality issue.
I eat a lot of beef and have ordered from several meat suppliers. This was the worst support experience I have had with any meat supplier. The long replies felt dismissive and disrespectful, and left me feeling misled: instead of saying clearly whether their beef can taste this way or standing behind the order, they gave me a technical reason not to resolve it. Very disappointing.
