My daughter is 6 almost 7 and yes she is tall ( 130) and the size 9-10 just barely fit her. The scoop comes super low only just covering her. I’d expect going up 2 sizes it would be sufficient. Will keep as this material is great and they were in the sale but wouldn’t buy again
