I was very pleasantly surprised by these tactile switches. Comparatively I feel like they can match Retro Js on brightness and clack with less tactility on the D-shaped bump. The stock lubing is great, they feel much smoother than the Retro Js though both still retain some subtle audible scratchiness on the rails. These switches are an absolute joy to type on, they can really bring the clackitude to a foamless board.

Great D-bump tactile!
Lately, I've been getting packs of tactile switches to try and see what I might like. I'm used to light linears so very heavy tactiles are a no-go for me, but I've become a fan of "D-bump" tactiles, so I decided to get a bunch of these. I'm really liking the sound and how consistent they are (didn't get any switches that sounded/felt off), and I agree that they're very approachable for people coming from linears. I also have some HMX Black Cats and HMX Hydras, and despite the listed actuation/bottom-out force, I find these a bit lighter than those two switches. Highly recommended for any other light typers that want to try D-bump tactiles.
