Hermes D'Orange Vert by Hermes

I have worn this scent before and i knew i liked it and what it smelled like, this travel size I received is different with a more pungeant smell meaning more towards citrus overwhelming the green and woodsy musk. Nevertheless I liked it, i waited 20 minutes and smelled it again and the smell had disappeared. No traces of it at all after about 30-40 minutes. That's not authentic.

The scent does Not Agree with my body chemistry

I'm just not entirely sure

I've worn this on a few occasions and I'm just not entirely sure. The first time I wore it I ended up washing it off I disliked it so much. The second time, I ended up really enjoying it. There is the distinct possibility that the scent interacted with something on my skin either time to make it behave the way it did, but it is interesting to get such a markedly different reaction from the same 1 oz sample. The scent that seems to be at issue is a sharp, citrusy smell that seemed too pungent at first. While it mellows pretty well I think sharp or spicy remains below the surface.
