A Great Reliable Attacking Forehand Rubber

I use Fastarc G-1 on the forehand of my Donic Waldner Senso Ultra Carbon blade. My previous choice of rubber was Butterfly Glayzer which I loved but I found I just wanted to have some more directness and speed. G-1 has given me these. G-1 has taken a little while to get used to (and I'm still learning!) as it is less forgiving and requires active, not passive, shot making to realise its potential - but it's worth it! Also, G-1 is actually very good in touch play over the table. It doesn't have the catapult effect of the tensors so I had to adjust a bit, but as it is linear and direct the rubber feels so good in the hand, and I can execute effective drop shots that I couldn't with Glayzer (I'm sure a better player could). Last of all, the Fastarc series is much less expensive than Butterfly and very durable. What's not to like!
