Tip for Rams with the plastic rail covers below. Install was a breeze with a step bit and low rpm router bit to get past the bulk of the plastic cover. Kudos for the instructions mentioning that the front fake stake lines NOT being true to the placement of the actual stake pocket — really Ram? Tie downs are secure and look great (after the step below). I’ve used it so far to transport a large gorilla cart on top of my trifold cover (to keep from having g to remove wheels for transport in the cover. What if found with the tie downs and the plastic covers is that the plastic will bow down when you get the right torque in the screws to be secure. To solve this, I cut 2 small rectangles of 1/8 aluminum to slide between the bed metal and the plastic before installing the tie downs (I put a little 3m spray adhesive on the aluminum to help with slippage). This let me tighten the screws well enough for the tie downs to be secure and not cause any bowing of the plastic.
