I’ve been really happy with the DF64 Gen 2 (Black). It feels like a “serious” grinder the moment you take it out of the box—solid, heavy, and built like it’s meant to stay put on the counter. Highlights: Heavy, sturdy build: The weight and overall construction give it a premium, stable feel during grinding. Nothing about it feels flimsy or toy-like. Great single-dose workflow: Easy to weigh, grind, and move on. It fits nicely into a daily routine without being annoying. The noise is a plus (for me): It has that strong, mechanical “coffee shop” sound. Personally, I like it—it makes the grinder feel powerful and intentional, not delicate. Strong performance across brew styles: Dialing in is straightforward, and it handles espresso and filter ranges well.

Solidly built and well designed grinder

Enough has been said on the Internet about this one already :-) Delivers fine and consistent grounds. 2 minor cons: - despite the built-in ionizer, some grounds stick to the outside of the chute - the adjustment ring is quite sensitive, adjusting half a tick mark makes quite a difference already The 250 W motor will effortlessly grind light roasts. Removing the upper burrs for cleaning is straightforward. A great addition to my coffee gear.
