The Preschool Box- 3 Months

Our first box, the August box, was amazing. The activities are short and the materials are all there. This was very helpful while our family was in a time of transition. As a certified reading specialist, I decided to change some of the words suggested for introducing letter sounds. The box really tries to stay on theme. For example, I opted to change tree to top for introducing /t/ so as not to use an r blend. Since tree could be more tricky to hear the independent /t/ sound in. I also really wish the October box had an option to opt out of Halloween themed activities. The month was mostly unusable for our family aside from adjusting activities. Activities about bats, spiders, and pumpkins would have been more acceptable to us instead of haunted houses, ghosts, and Halloween characters like frankenstine and witches. Overall, It is a wonderfully laid out box with easy to implement activities for busy parents. Well worth the price.

The guides are great. However, I would prefer if the worksheets were not stapled together with the guides. Additionally, having items labeled would also be helpful. I found myself trying to figure out what was what. This was particularly hard when I then had to explaining to someone else who was helping my toddler do the activity when I was not there.

Very underwhelmed for the price. Cheap materials i could have picked up at Dollar General for less than $20. I canceled. This was way overpriced for what we received.
