Form and function

I planned a visit to Freenote Cloth’s store on North Figueroa while passing through LA and my wife and I both enjoyed the visit. The staff were helpful and welcoming. I bought the pleated riders jacket in large. I tried on the medium for comparison but in my case the large was the best fit. For me it is primarily a practical choice of a well made garment designed for movement and comfort in a range of conditions, but it is also a great looking jacket with detailing that is subtly evocative of its heritage - a great combination.
