Oculus Lite | Jewelled Lite Multichrome Eyeshadow

My first and only Jewelled Lite is a total disappointment. While it is shifty, its extraordinarily powdery and finicky to apply compared to other multichromes, even black based ones like my Blend Bunny Trove. Does not blend well at all. I'm never reaching for it, which for the price tag, ouch. I enjoy other shadows from other collections but my advice to shoppers: be mindful of price tag and make sure you like more powdery types of multichromes before buying this one.

So, the shadow’s themselves are ok, they are sparkly and shift, this Oculus color more so than the other I bought. They aren’t long lasting, and they are not packed in very tight in the pan so there is a fair amount of kickback. The pan came in a cardboard envelope, the shadow itself was not sealed so I immediately stuck a fingernail in on accident (my nails are very short) and made a bit of a mess. The palette I bought to put it in was pretty cheaply made to be honest, it was a disappointment. Because of how the shadow is so loose in the pan, it’s messy getting them into the palette once you get them out of the envelope. They aren’t cheap for this kind of packaging, I would have at least hoped for something cleaner and less messy. I don’t think I would purchase again, they just aren’t that special, not enough to wait over month and deal with cheap packaging. No reviews on their site, only here on Shopify.
