The Chaya Jade Derby skates ended up being the perfect choice for me - I love them so much! Very comfortable, very nice even to learn skating & derby in. I typically wear wide-fitted shoes but have felt zero discomfort, would recommend these to anyone.

Excellent step up from my first pair

I brought these to replace a pair I'd bought second/third hand to try out derby skating and see if I enjoyed it. Within a few months I was ready to upgrade but on a tight budget, so I picked these. They are such a huge step up from my older pair - much lighter, better fit and the low cut makes them very manouverable. The allen-key toe stop also means I spend less time adjusting and tightening my toe stops during skate sessions. They fit comfortably even from my first skate and the waxed laces means they can go nice and tight around my low-arch skinny feet, and the metal eyelets feel like they're going to last. The boot is slightly rigid too which means they're very responsive compared to my previous leather/PU boot. I love these skates! Would 100% recommend.
