The glacier fresh MXFE filter for GE refrigerator’s requiring a rfid chip actually worked. After installing the filter I got water through the dispenser instead of an “err” msg on the refrigerator console. An unexpected bonus, other than the lower price compared to the GE filter was the Glacier Fresh filter was easier to install.
